Requirements:

• MD candidates preferred.
• Internal Medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
• Cardiology fellowship completion required from an accredited program.
• Fellowship in Electrophysiology completion required from an accredited program.
• Board certification in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology required.
• Current Texas license or willingness to obtain.
• Seeking a candidate ready to practice immediately who has at least two years of practice experience post-fellowship. 

About the job:

• Employed position with Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) Heart & Vascular Specialists Fort Worth, a large cardiology practice founded over 50 years ago.

• EP specific practice with general cardiology on-call responsibilities.

• This is a cardiology practice with 23 physicians and 13 APPs that practice in 8 locations. Currently there are three (3) full-time cardiac electrophysiologists.

• Weekend call schedule is 1:6.

• Opportunities available for:

• • Clinical trial research
• • Clinical teaching with medical students and Internal Medicine residents

• This group practices on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth and a secondary location at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest.
